FALSE PRETENCE
A YOUTH SENTENCED
(By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Francis John Snow, alias Peers, alias Brown, aged 22 years, was released from a borstal institution on 4th December and._was to-day sentenced to two years reformative detention when he pleaded guilty to obtaining canteen cutlery from Walker Hall, Ltd., by means of false pretence. He had opened a bank account so obtaining a cheque book on which ho operated after immediately closing the account.
