TOTALISATOR INVESTMENTS
A HUGE DECREASE Racing and trotting meetings held throughout the Dominion during the Christmas and New Year holidays showed a marked decline in the volume of betting. The weather was better than it has been for some years, but in every case clubs have to show a decline in totalisator turnover, and for the whole of New Zealand the decrease compared with last year is over a quarter of a million.
