The conference of tire CresweLlian Labour Party carried a resolution declaring that the continuance of the pact betwen the party and the Nationalists was no longer in the interests of Labour and calling on the executive to terminate the alliance before next January The resolution was carried in the face of a strong speech by Mr Creswell, who declared that the termination of the pact before 2934 when the next General Election would fall if the present Government lasted its full term, would he politically dishonest. It is cot improbable that Mr Creswell may solve his personal problen by quitting the Labour Party and declaring bin. self a Nationalist.
