FIVE SHOPS DESTROYED
DESTRUCTIVE FIRE. AT EUROA (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received sth Janaury, 11.45 a.m.) MELBOURNE. This Day. Damage to the extent of thousands of pounds was done when a fire destroyed five shops in the main street of Euroa. The structures were all of wood ana were reduced to ashes in a short time. Three shops were also destroyed at Omeo, the damage being estimated at £7OOO. In one a family escaped witn difficulty in their night attire.
