DRUNKEN MOTORIST
FINED AND LICENSE CANCELLED (By Telegraph—Press Association) ): DUNEDIN, This Day. Completely drunk, Joseph Whitson (60) drove his car into a creek at Green Island on Saturday night, the conse r quence being that his brother was removed to hospital with minor injuries. He appealed at the Police Court charged with being- drunk while in charge of a car, and he was fined £lO, his license was cancelled, and he was prohibited from driving for 12 months.
