BURMA REBELLION
EXPECTED SOON TO END SEVERAL LEADERS KILLED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) DELHI, 2nd January. Optimistic officials say they will crush tlie Burma rebellion in a fortnight. Eight hundred rebels who attacked Major Hare’s troops met with a hot reception. The Punjabis maintained lire for an hour and a half killing many rebels, including the leaders. A large number of Burmese daggers, some guns, arid a red ilag were seized.
