FANCE AND ITALY (“Times” Cables) LONDON, Ist January. “The Times” Rome correspondent states that any extension of the FrancoItalian naval holiday has obviously been abandoned. Newspapers give prominence lo the list of vessels launched in 1930 totalling 59,000 tons—six cruisers, six submarines, three destroyers—and refer to unit’s being launched in 1931 including the 10,000 ton cruiser Roia, which is being laid down in March.
