WELLINGTON, This Day

A fire broke out in a photographic workroom in the Victoria Buildings, in Manners street and caused damage to the premises of the Regent Photographic Studio, which were gutted. A. E. Donaldson, a blind specialist, had lii.s contents damaged by water. Mar tin’s boot store had a portion of their stock damaged by water. The building was a three storey wood and bi ir.lt structure owned bv Airs Wiularc.
