PASSION PLAY FOR ENGLAND
Mr Alfred Denville, the actor-mana-ger, states that the Oberammergnu "Passion Play” is to be produced in England. The production will be on a large and generous scale. If in London, tbe presentation may be at Drury Lane. Covent Garden, or the big new Domoiiion Theatre. "On the other hand, said Mr Denville. "some village in beautiful surroundings, obviously if must be. within twenty or thirty miles of London—may he selected. A huge, cover-ed-in amphitheatre and a specially large stage would he erected.” It is Air Deiiville’s intention that any profits should go to charities.
