WATERSIDE WORKERS
VALIDITY OF GRANTING PREFERENCE A TEST CASE (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph-^Copyrlgnt) (Received 3rd January, 10.10 a.m.) MELBOURNE. This Day. The validity of regulations granting preference to members of the Waterside Workers' Federation is being tested at law. Mr Justice Starke granted an application by the shipowners for an injunction to restrain the federal Ministry from enforcing the regulations. A full court of the High Court will probably he specially constituted to hear the case next week.
