CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The championship tennis finals resulted: — (Men’s singles—Stodman (Auckland) beat Barnett (Canterbury) 7-5, 6-1, 6-3. Men’s doubles —Seay and Angas (Canterbury) beat France brothers (Wellington) 6-3, 6-3, 6-3. Women’s singles—Mrs Dykes (Auckland) beat Miss Marjorie Macfarlane (Auckland) 6-1, 9-7. Mixed doubles—Miss Andrew and Seay (Canterbury) beat Mrs Thomson and Wilson 'Wellington) 7-5, 3-6, 7-5. Girls’ singles—Miss Bishop (Christchurch) beat Miss Reese 6-2, 6-5. Junior mixed doubles—Miss Howo and Davys (Wellington) beat Miss Poole and Kean 6-1, 6-5. Tlie Wildjng Cun goes to Auckland with six points to Canterbury’s five. All the titles changed hands.
