CROYDON MYSTERY
VERDICT OF WILFUL MURDER

The final inquest on the three Croydon poisoning victims resulted in a verdict of wilful murder against a person or persons unknown. In the case of Edmund Duff the coroner again lengthily summed up, pointing out that there was not a scrap of evTdence to single 'out any member of the family as a poisoner. After twenty-seven sittings the Duff inquests closed with a dramatic but inconclusive verdict. „-.,,« i It is understood that Scotland lard is determined not to stop the investigation. Sooner or later the police are convinced that sensational developments arc bound to occur. ■
