SYDNEY, 3rd August. At billiards. Smith playing MeConachy compiled a huge break of 2,030, which is a record for Australia. Smith, who has already made a break of 2743 at Manchester, now holds the record for the second highest break. MeConachy yesterday made one break of 626, which was a beautiful effort.
The scores now are, Smith 10,992, Mc Conachy 10,.284.
