ARMED BANDITS AT MELBOURNE SEVEN HOLD UPS DURING WEEK* END (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) . (Received f>th August, 9.35 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The reign of terror by finned bandits continues. Hold-ups over the week-end totalled seven. In each case unescorted women were the victims, and in two cases, at Moonee ponds, shots were fired to intimidate the victims. The proceeds in the majority of cases were small.
