FURRED SKIN SALE
-The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report: Rabbitskins.—Our fifth furred skin sale 'of the season was held in Wellington oh Ist "August, when we offered a very attractive catalogue of all grades and descriptions of rabbitskins to the usual attendance of buyers. Adverse reports have-just been received from London on the sales recently held in that centre, prices showing a very decided drop. This naturally reflected on our sale, and we were compelled to accept a lower range of'values'." At the present time there are-heavy stocks of New Zealand skins awaiting sale in London, and shippers have lost considerably on'their purchases.
