An increase of sixpence per week in the fiasic wage in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth, a decrease of sixpence in

Sydney and Hobart, and a reduction of a shilling in Brisbane was revealed by figures compiled by the Trades Hall Research Information Bureau. The new rates come into operation on 10th August.
