ANXIETY STILL EXISTS

(Received 27th July. 10.25 a.m.) SHANGHAI. 26th July. Considerable anxiety still exists in Manchuria following iho arrival of the Chinese Consul, stall, and families, who report ill-treatment of the Chinese community at Vladivostok, and the refusal of the Soviet to supply food. It is stated that Soviet troops are drilling night and day, and that motors and other vehicles had been commandeered.
