NAVAL AGREEMENT

Speaking at Portland, Maine, Senator Frederick Hale, chairman of the Senate Committee of Naval Affairs, declared that he believed a MacDonald-Hoover naVal agreement would be, void until the Senate ratified it. Mr Hale said that Air Hoover’s postponement of the cruiser building programme must have the Senator's approval.
