NAVAL AGREEMENT
MUST BE RATIFIED BY SENATE (United Prana Association—By Elactria Tslwaph—Copyright) (Australian Press Association.—United Service) NEW YORK, 25th July. Speaking at Portland, Maine, Senator Frederick Hale, chairman of the Senate Committee of Naval Affairs, declared that he believed a MacDonald-Hoover naVal agreement would be, void until the Senate ratified it. Mr Hale said that Air Hoover’s postponement of the cruiser building programme must have the Senator's approval.
