DISPARITY BETWEEN ISLANDS • (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, 26th July. The disparity in the prices of fertilisers m the two islands was discussed at deputation from the Fanners’ Union which waited on che Hon. G. W. Forbes and the Hon. J. Q. Cobbe to-day. Mr Forbes undertook to go into the matter with manufacturers and see if the South Island could be .placed on an equality with the north in respect to quotations.
