SHEEP SALE AT STOKE
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having conducted a highly successful sale of M essrs York Bros.’ flock at Stoke yesterday. The sheep were in good condition and well drafted, resulting in prices highly satisfactory to the vendors. The ewes sold at 32s 6d to 33s 6d : ewe hoggets 24s 9d ; aged ewes bred to Border rams 30s; wethers 27s 3d; wether hoggets 18s 8d j rams If, 2, 2£, to guineas; empty cows £8 ss.
