LABOURITE’S NEW TITLE LONDON, 19th July. Mr Jack Hayes, ALP., the Labour Vice-Chamberlain of the Royal Household, told the King, in the course of a Royal audience, the tale of an Edgehill constituent who had written him a letter which said: “Now then, .lack, seeing that you are a deputy King, wliat about a job?” A woman lemon seller, another constituent, declared that she needn’t sell lemons any more, since Mr Hayes would make her a maid of honour.
