FARMERS’ DISCUSSION (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. /iho Farmers’ Union Conference had a discussion on the rural intermediate credits system. A complaint was made that the process was too slow, that itwas easier to get money from local hanks, and that there was too much delay in Wellington. Other speakers, however, said it was working satisfactorily in their districts. After a. statement that the Minister of Finance had given an assurance, thatapplications would he expedited, it was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the executive.
