FIRE IN COLD STORE

HEAVY DAMAGE IN SYDNEY (United Preai Association—By Eleetrlo Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, 24th ' July. Heavy damage was done when fire, gutted two floors of the Metropolitan Ice and Cold Storage Works at Pyrniont this morning. Eight engines attended the blaze. Edgar Rae, who was working in the building when an explosion occurred, tried to extinguish the flames, was severely burned, and taken to hospital. Fireman Sims was also injured when a hose recoiled under high water pressure, knocking him, with others, down a stairwav.
