THE CHRISTCHURCH TROUBLE (By Telegraph —Press Association) . CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Major Furby, District Commissioner of the Boy {Scouts, replying to complaints, said this morning: "Should the dissatisfied scout masters resign they will leave openings for better men to take charge and inculcate into the boys the proper ideals of scout training, lack of which is'evident under the system of control advocated by the Scouters' Association." He said he had been given full powers to clean up the 'mess and intended to do so.
