MOTUEKA CLUB The first .qualifying round of senior and junior championship will be played during the week end. The following is the draw : E. .1. Heath v. Clark, Dr. Green V. G. Heath, Drogemuller v. Thorp, S. G. Smith v. Pocklinglon, Agar v. Ross, Stratford v, H. Heath, Painter v. Baldwin, Batt'v. Dndds, .McCarthy v. Buekeridge, McKee v. Webley Stringer v. Scorer, Stilwell v. J. C. Smith, Rogers v. Wilkinson, Boundy v. Whiteborn, L. Manoy v. MacKav', Bowers v. 11. Manoy, Johnstone v. .lames, Dumbell v. Goodman, Shaw-Thompson v. -Nicholson. Apperley v. Stohr, Colvin v. Buxton, George v." J. A. Smith. The match is stroke play and the first sixteen in the two qualifying rounds (senior and junior) will be eligible for the championship. The second round of the captain's trophy -which has had to be postponed o-n account of the wet condition of the links will be played at a later date.
