The "Daily Telegraph's" diplomatic: correspondent says that hopes of a meeting of the Reparations Conference at Brussels on sth August are likely to be disappointed. Germany has intimated that £-he views the Belgian venue with disfavour, while Era nee. favours a postponement of the' conference 1 . British circles meanwhile are resentful at Hie utter Jack of consideration shown to Britain by Powers which benefit at its expense by Ilia Young Plan. There is also considerable indignation in League of Nations circles at the suggestion that the League Assembly be posiponed to suit the convenience of one or two Powers.
