LONG DISTANCE RECORD
ATTEMPT BY ROYAL AIR'FORCE / (British Official Wireless) " ..<•'■;; RUGBY, 22nd July. It is learned that the Royal Air Force is to make another attempt to break the world's long distance record with a big Fairey-Napier long-range monoplane which recently flew non-stop to India. The machine is at present being exhibited at the Aero Show at Olympia, but immediately this closes on Saturday will be taken to Cranwell aerodrome to bo prepared for the attempt to fly either to Colombo or Durban, the destination being according to weather' con- * ditions. • .
