HOUSE OF COMMONS REMAINING BUSINESS BEFORE SUMMER RECESS (British Ollicial Wireless) RUGBY, 22nd July. The Government hope that the outstanding Parliamentary business will be concluded on Friday lo enable the House to adjourn for the long summer .recess. Matters remaining include the third reading of the Housing Bill, providing for a revision of housing subsidies, and tho Development Bill which deals with loan guarantees and grants for schemes connected with unemployment. Statements upon I lie naval policy and conversations regarding disarmament are expected to be made by the. Prime Minister before the House adjourns. Members will also be asked to approve of supplementary estimates amounting to £206,000, of*which about £IOO.OOO will be contributed to the National Radium Trust, the remainder going to the National Gallery to assist in the purchase of the Wilton diptych and Titian's picture of the Cornaro family. The grant in respect of radium is made on the basis of £1 for every £1 provided by voluntary contribution to augment the supply for the treatment of the sfckj and for the advancement of knowledge-in'undergoing such treatment.
