STRIKE DISORDERS
TIMBER WORKERS' DISPUTE UNION OFFICIALS ARRESTED (United Press Association— By Elsotrlc Talegrapn—Copyright) SYDNEY, 22nd July. Arising out of muss picketing disorders at Hudson's yards the police to-night raided the Trades Hall here and arrested Jock Garden (secretary of the Labour Council), J. Culbert, M.L.C. (secretary of the Timber Workers' Union), W. Terry (the union's organiser). C. Reeves and-M. P. Ryan (members of the Disputes Committee), and W. Patbn (of the lion workers' Union), all ehayged with conspiracy. They were admitted to bail in £l5O. The arrests caused a stir in industrial circles.
