The challenge was accepted. All requests for classification were agreed to. W. Sexton was added to the Nelson Club's classification list. A statement of accounts showed that the Union had a credit balance of £42 5s 9d, with about £lO in outstanding accounts. The curtain raiser for the Seddon Shield match will be played between the College and Nelson junior teams. Mr Silcoek was appointed # Kelson manager of the West Coast teani. Arrangements were made for the Seddon Shield maul) «..:i Saturday. The curtain raiser will bo played afc 1.30 p.m. and the Shield match at 3 p.m. ll was decided thai ihe visiting team he entertained al a dance. The Nelson, team is to be assembled at 1.30 p.m. .Mr Blincoe complained of Ihe Rover junior team forfeiting and the Rover representative was asked to enquire into the matter and ask the club if it intends to fulfil its engagements in matches which may be played in town. The College was granted permission to play the Motueka junior representatives on Wednesday. A gale charge is to be made for the match.
