MARCH ON SYDNEY
BY NEWCASTLE MINERS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 22nd July. 10.0 a.m.) NEWCASTLE, This Day. Preparations are being made for a march of 20,000 unemployed miners from Newcastle to Sydney in a- solid body in order to demonstrate to the State capital citizens the effects of the dispute on the Northern coalfields and bring pressure on the Government for the re-opening of the closed collieries. The march will be timed so that the men will arrive in Sydney to meet the Premier, Mr Bavin, on his return from abroad.
