DEPARTURE OF RUSSIANS
CONSUL AND OFFICIALS (Received 22nd July, 12.25 p.m.) SHANGHAI, 21st July. Soviet officials continue to leave China, among recent departures being the Soviet Consul and fourteen officials, with women and children. Chinese merchants promised the Government 100,000 bags of flour, ten million dollars, and a regular supply of rice in tlie event of necessity through hostilities.
