SOVIET READY (Received 20th July, 9.25 a.m.) MOSCOW, 19th July. Mass meetings in connection with the agitation against China, are being held throughout the country. Stalin, in a speech, declared that the Soviet was ready to answer blow for blow. The “Investia” says: “The break in relations with China raises the question of the safety of a considerable part of our eariern frontier, and will compel the Soviet Union to take measures for the protection and defence of her territory against possible attempts at confiscation by tli e Chinese and Russian White Guards.”
