Amobg the most important and most enthusiastic of these are 34 girls who have decided to plav Association Football. A practice was held at the Domain yesterday afternoon,- attended by T 8 playei-s and another dozen were unable to participate owing to lack of equipment. The girls themselves had expressed the desire to play Rugby but were persaud-* ed'th'at the SdCcer code would be more suitable for them, and have now entered into l the'game with a will. Within .the next 10 days'it is hoped to play a match at b’ Blarißford / : .Park' between ' the restaurant -employees and hotel cm-: ployees as a curtain: raiser to a match between Barmen and Navy, the proqeeds from which- will be devoted to the earthquake fund. -
