Birdcage steward: Mr E, F. Healy, M.P. (re-elected). Ambulance steward: Mr H. F. West (re-elected);; {Ground committee: Messrs J. A. Stringer, A. Grant, and E.- S. Merrick (re-elected). Programme committee: Whole Committee. Mr slamilton ! thanked members for his -re-election, as president, and remarked on'the iiumber, of members Who had again accepted honorary positions. The'president referred to the fine work for, and the assistance- given the club for many years by Mr H. Baigent .who had now retired from the list of Club officers. A resolution that a vote of appreciation of Mr Baigent's services be recorded, was carried with applause. The Sports Protection League forwarded copies of a petition to be signed by ICliib members in support of the Gaming Bill' now beforeJthe,House of Parliament. The bill,provides, for'the telegraphing of totalisator investments and the removal of:-the' restriction on the publication, of dividends. '." It .was reported that the dates for the 'next i-ace meeting were 9th and 10th MayvJL93o, which would be a week previous to the Marlborough meeting. A-vote of thanks was passed to the Victuallers' Association for the presentation of a handsome cup to the Club." ■'
