M.C.C.'s NEW ZEALAND TOUR ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. For the tour of New Zealand by the M.C.C. team, which is to visit Australia this year, arrangements were completed yesterday at a meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council. The tour will include five matches in Australia. The first will be at Perth on 31st October. The team is due to arrive in Wellington on 10th December. The Management Committee's proposal is to include four matches against the major associations, ten against minor associations, and three against New Zealand. The New Zealand itinerary has yet to be confirmed by the associations concerned. LANCASHIRE V. The South Africans in tlie first innings made 218—Siedle 64. Iddon took five wickets for 34. South Africa in the second innings made 36 for tlie loss of one wicket. PLAYERS V. GENTLEMEN (Received 19th July, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, 18th July. Plavers made 253—Hendren 89, and Gentlemen 310—Carr 64, Wyatt 63. Freeman took five wickets for 103. Players have 29 on for no wickets.,
