WHEAT MARKET EXCITED

Wednesday's wheat advance of eight cents per bushel on the basis of 250 million bushels in Canada added 20 million dollars to the value of that crop, adding still more to the value of domestic spring'wheat yet unharvested and even a bigger boon to south-western farmers, who have not sold their winter wheat. EXPITEMENT AT CHICAGO (Received 19th July, 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, 18th July. Bulls and bears battled throughout the session at the Chicago wheat pit where tremendous excitement, prevailed concerning world-wide weather reports, and transactions totalled millions of bushels on the receipt of each new fragment of information. Reports indicated that the Canadian and united States spring wheat outlook had not changed, while Continental high temperatures provided a basis for a more bullish set of crop estimates.
