ABOUT DAM IN KARAMEA AERIAL SURVEY ARRANGED (By Telegraph) (From "The Mail's" Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, 18th July. A telegram has "been received by Mr G. C, Black, M.P., from Mr ty. R. Simpson, of Karamea stating that the local residents are most anxious about a dam in the Karamea river and asking that an aerial survey be made. The member for Motueka has represented the position to the Minister of Defence and the Minister of Public Works and arrangements have been made for Captain Buckley to fly from ■':■■■■■ Soekbum, pick up the Public Works Engineer at Greymouth, and inspect the ' locality.
