STEWARD ADMITS THEFT
(Br Telegraph-Prese Aisooiation) DUNEDIN, This Day. In the Police Court William Sydney King (.26) pleaded guilty to stealing knives,' forks, and spoons valued at £l, the properly of the Union Coy. The chief detective said accused was a steward and when he left the ship took the stolen property. The cutlery had been recovered. Accused was remanded for the probation officer's report.
