DELANEY TOO GOOD FOR BROWN (By Telegraph—Prai* JLiaociatlon) - J PALMERSTON N., This Day. Bobby Delaney came close to adding to his already long list of knock outs at Palmerston North when Bert Brown’s seconds threw in the towel in the twelfth lound of a scheduled fifteen, three minute round, lightweight professional bout, for a purse of £2OO. Delaney carried weighty punches in both hands, and used his right to Brown’s body and face battering him badly. Brown’s capacity for punishment was truly amazing, and although lie had one eve closed and the other very nearly so, he came up again after breather's with commendable -courage.
