Doctor Von Elirentlial, director of the Kotlien Paper Technical Institute in Germany, on behalf of Australian and New Zealand Investments Ltd., carried out experiments in making paper from New Zealand hemp. He reports that it is better .than the usual pulp from wood and grain ami equals the better quality manufactured from linen rags. It is suitable for copper plate printing paper, bunk notes, line note paper, and tissue cigarette paper, and could lie used for improving medium paper from eucalyptus pulp.
