REFORT FROM TAKAKA
The chief postmaster at Nelson (Mr G. W. Hazelton) has received tlie following telegram from the postmaster, Tukuku:— Takaka, 11.24 a.m.—"Light shakes experienced at 11.58 a.m., 1.45 p.m., 5.24 p.m. yesterday and 11.5 a.m. to-day. Night calm. Tremors still continue. Weather line.”
