It- is absolutely necessary that the details required by the form must be given and that the declaration at the back of the form must also be properly filled up and declared to before a Justice of the Peace or postmaster. Any ‘irregularity in the filling in of the forms or in making the declaration will result in serious delay and may also result in very prejudicially affecting the interests of the applicant. There is a space at the heading of the form for the address and date. This be given 'in every case. Applicants in Nelson who are in any doubt as to the manner in 'which the forms should be 'filled in and signed are advised to call and see the Town Clerk who will be glad to give then every assistance in this direction arid as he is himself a Justice of the Peace, the declaration could be made before him. Applicants in the country districts should .see the County Clerks in their respective localities who would no doubt render them all assistance in their power.

It has been, found necessary to call attention in this _ way as forms are already being received incompletely and wrongly filled in.-
