SYDNEY TIMBER STRIKE
YARDS RUN BY LABOUR (United Pre«i Association—By KUotrie Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY. 16th July. Mr J. S. Garden, Secretary of the Trades and Labour Council, said today: "We are prepared to open every timber yard in Sydney and suburbs on the same condition as Rosen f eld's." Asked what those conditions were, Mr Garden replied: "We took over Rosenfeld's Yard and are running it. • This has been endorsed by the Sydney and Suburban Timber Merchants' Association and the Labour Disputes Committee. What hinders all the other yards opening on the same terms?"
