MOVEMENT CONTINUES A considerable movement in the hillside subsidence! at Tahuiia lias taken place sinco yesterday and the pressure of Uie Ir.oscncd aim is now making it■6o,ll 'fait 'in the. surface of the Hocks rball which has risen, in a large bulge opposite the creeping land. 'l'he appearance (if this bulge this afternoon indicated that, it instil break" out at any moment. The extent of the movement of tin; main area affected is indicated by the increased length, depth and width since yesterday of the cracks in Moans road. The road on the downhill side of the cracks has dropped several inches since yesterday. The whole mass has, moved across the Hocks road for n boil I fifteen feel and the bulge extends aboiil another ten feet. Several slips have come down along the Hocks road since Saturday. The largest fell last night and brought with it shrubs from the top of the cliffs. The material has fallen well across the roadway and there is only room for one vehicle to pass at n lime.
