CONCEALMENT OF BIRTH

(By Telegraph—Press Association) WAIMATE, 16th July. Pleading guilty £orcharges of concealment of birth, Lomond Kennedy and Juanita Winifred Wilce were committed for sentence to the Supreme Court in the Magistrate's Cour£ to-day, by Mr C. R. Orr-Walker, S.M. Medical ancr police evidence was on the lines of that, at the inquest last Friday. Kennedy did not give evidence, but Wilce was put in the box by her solicitor and stated that Kennedy threatened to kill her if she told anyone about being pregnant, and after the birth he. extracted money from her. He also knocked her about and kicked her.
