ARRIVAL OF AUSTRALIAN TEAM (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Australian Hockey team arrived to-day from Sydney and was welcomed by officials of the New Zealand Association and members of the Wellington Association ,and were later entertained at luncheon at the hotel. The team is a youthful one, but considered the best that has ever left Australia. The grounds on the other side have been heavy lately, and therefore the team should be ready for the New Zealand conditions. The trip over was not good, but tho players look forward confidently to the opening match with Wairarapa at Carterton on Thursday.
