TO AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIES

IF PREFERENCE GOES STATEMENT 15V PREMIERS ■ (United Preas Annooiatfon-By Elaotrw Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, 13th July. The Prime Minister (Mr Bruce) and the Queensland Premier (Mr Moore) communicated to London their belief that the abolition of preferences as proposed by Mr Snowdeu would be a great blow to Australian industries. The loss to the Australian sugar and dried fruits industries if the proposal was carried out was estimated at £850,000. OTTAWA, 13th July.
