CARS COLLIDE
SIX PEOPLE INJURED (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day.; Six of eight passengers of a five-seat-er touring car which was driven by Q. W. McCathie were injured when the ear capsized as the result of a collision with another car driven by ilHi-, Warner at the corner of Gillies arid Epsom avenues last night. McCathie's car had got almost clear whon Warner's car struck it near the footboard and finally came to rest on the hood, crust.ing it completely and pinning the eighi occupants underneath so that they wero unable to get clear without assistance. The injured are : George McCathie (7), lacerated wounds on the face, head injuries, condition fairly serious. ' , Mrs Alnn McCathie (33), fractured jaw. Others less "seriously injured were Mr Chomley and wife at(d two sons. The driver, G. W. McCathie, and the, infant son of H. Warner- escaped injury. George McCathie bad his head pinned between the side of the car and the ground, and received severe gashes on the side of the face.
