LONDON, May 11 The Daily Herald states that tiie Epsom Grandstand Association has purchased the freehold of Epsom Downs from the Lord of Manor for £57.000 in order to improve, the race conr.se. including a new stand costing £50,000. Stanley Woutlon is buying a training ground nearby for £35.000.
